Our mission is to lead the way in finding solutions for our clients to meet the ever-changing complexities of our industry. We will assist them in the placement of appropriate commercial property, casualty and bond insurance products through brokerage and program management facilities. We will continue to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow by providing thoughtful, experienced guidance every step of the way.

Hartan first opened its doors in 1986. Today, headquartered in New York City and with several offices across the country, Hartan operates as a mid-sized agency with a service-oriented, regional focus and the ability to also take a national position. We represent excellent, top line carriers with very strong A. M. Best ratings, and in certain cases, operate as a managing general agent.

Our business is developed through Brokerage, Specialty Programs and exclusive arrangements with our retail clients. We are firm believers that our ability to understand and anticipate future industry trends, respond quickly to client requests and needs, and our extensive technical skills gives us the edge we need to lead the way in our industry.

As an example, our knowledge of Workmen's Compensation has made us a leader in the industry for this line of business. Our staff's experience in the construction field has helped us create an exclusive construction program. Additionally our formidable strength in the marketplace has enabled us to build a real estate umbrella program with high limits, broad coverages and competitive premiums.
